Initiatives of Change Switzerland has the pleasure to invite you to the Geneva Peace Talks, the flagship event in Geneva to celebrate the International Day of Peace. The event is followed by a reception. Join us if you are in the Geneva region! 



The United Nations has declared 21 September a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and people. Speakers coming from diverse backgrounds will share their personal experiences, stories and ideas to highlight how each and every one of us can promote peace that goes beyond borders.

Kindly note that registration to participate in this event is obligatory for all, including for those already in possession of an access badge for the Palais de Nations.

The Geneva Peace Talks is a public event co-organized by the United Nations Office at Geneva, Interpeace and the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform to celebrate the International Day of Peace.
This year’s edition is held in partnership with the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces, Initiatives of Change, Fondation Hirondelle, the Right Livelihood Award, and Generations for Peace.
