The 5th and 6th editions of Enriching Encounters took place in May 2018. They shone a light on local residents' stories as a tool for building trust amongst the locals by using a version of the Human Library.

On 31 May 2018 Initiatives of Change Switzerland organizes a Human Library event in Geneva in collaboration with the Centre de la Roseraie. The event is part of the series "Enriching Encounters."

As part of the series "Enriching Encounters" Initiatives of Change Switzerland organises a Human Library event in Eaux-Vives on 18 May 2018.

On 7 November, 2017 the 90 participants of the Human Library event at the Geneva Peace Week each chose two of the ‘human books’. They got the opportunity to hear their stories, interact with them, ‘open’ different chapters of their lives and exchange ideas with other members of the audience.

This Human Library event provides long-time residents and newcomers with a chance to meet in a relaxed atmosphere and to build meaningful connections. It is co-organized by Inter-act & Thrive and the CAUX-Initiatives of Change Foundation.

In times of extremes, there are many ways of choosing to promote peace instead of violence. The upcoming Human Library event on Tuesday, 7th November explores different approaches through the personal stories of 5 human books who work to promote interfaith dialogue, institutional tools, grassroots solutions and education as tools to contribute to living in a more peaceful society. Join us for a new human library at the UN library in Geneva!

Around 40 people gathered in the UN library on 4 May 2017 to participate in the latest edition of CAUX-Initiatives of Change Foundation’s (CAUX-IofC) human library on ‘Youth Breaking Barriers of Exclusion’. This was CAUX-IofC’s third collaboration with the UN library as part of its Enriching Encounters series.
