The Caux Dialogue on Land and Security started last night, aiming to look at the connection between people, conflict, peace and environmental degradation.

And so concludes the two day seminar in Caux on Addressing Europe’s Unfinished Business.

The Caux Artists Program will present two performances of MURIEL: The World Walked Into Her Heart this summer in Caux, the Initiatives of Change (IofC) conference centre in Switzerland. 

Land degradation and desertification are one of the biggest challenges our world is facing. June 17th is this year's World Day to Combat Desertification. A projection, a conference and a debate on the theme will take place at the Maison de la Paix in Geneva. More info here.

The 2013 Annual Report is now available to read online or to download. Many local, regional and international actions of this extraordinary world network are celebrated in the Annual Report. The geographical spread of the work is striking, as is the range and diversity of initiatives. Their convergence around our focus areas of 'Trustbuilding', 'Ethical leadership' and 'Sustainable Living' are tangible and visible.

'Once upon a time they fought against each other: the Muslim Muhammad Ashafa and the Christian James Wuye. Then they founded together a centre for reconciliation.' In a February edition of the well-known German weekly 'Der Spiegel', the journalist Bartholomäus Grill published an article about the surprising story and impressive work of the two Nigerian peaceworkers Iman Ashafa and Pastor Wuye.
